The Top 3 Best Fits for Desean Jackson

Desean Jackson made it clear towards the end of the season that he is done with the Buccaneers. He is reportedly tired of the quarterback situation as well as the constant mediocrity that Tampa Bay offers. Jackson has a much better connection with Ryan Fitzpatrick, but the Bucs have made it clear that Jameis Winston is the starter for the future. Here are the 3 best fits for the disgruntled star to be moved to in a trade.

3: Green Bay Packers

The Packers showed that Aaron Rodgers needs more help to carry Green Bay to the playoffs every season. Since Antonio Brown would be more expensive, Green Bay should try to get Jackson to pair with Davante Adams. He would take pressure off of Adams while being able to go deep for one of the best quarterbacks in the league. The Pack might lose Randall Cobb in free agency, so wide receiver is a huge need. When the Bucs trade Jackson, they won’t care about whether or not he likes his new team. He definitely would like to be a Packer though.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers

Jackson’s career started off with the other Pennsylvania team, and now a move back north makes sense. The Steelers are going to have to trade #1 receiver, Antonio Brown, as bringing his drama into camp would be a terrible distraction. JuJu looks like he will be the best receiver on the team, so having a deep threat would really help take pressure off of him, similar to Davante Adams for the Packers. Jackson would also get to play with Ben Roethlisberger, someone who can make throws and get him the ball. With this trade, the Steelers could win the AFC North next year.

1: Carolina Panthers

The Panthers produced an all-time collapse during the 2nd half of the season, going 1-7 after a 6-2 start. Cam Newton playing hurt was obviously one of the reasons, but the Panthers need more offensive weapons. I went to the Seahawks vs Panthers game in week 12, and the Panthers whole offensive gameplan was to pitch it to Christian McCaffrey. Every single play they would throw a screen pass or hand it off to him. It was the most predictable offense in the league. The Seahawks won the game 30-27, and while the McCaffrey is a beast, the Panthers need receivers. l During their 7 game losing streak, the Panthers averaged 17.5 points. Curtis Samuel and D.J Moore aren’t enough weapons in this high-scoring league.. If the Panthers make a trade with their division rivals then they could have a really talented offense and get back to the playoffs.
