On Saturday, I missed both spread picks, but I picked the under in the Colts vs Chiefs game and that hit. Sunday I did much better, going 3-0, with the Patriots and Eagles covering the spread as well as the under (51) hitting in the Eagles-Saints game.

Rams at Saints (-3)

Kickoff is at 3pm est.

The Saints are coming off a big comeback win against Philadelphia, while the Rams are coming off their first home playoff win since relocating to Los Angeles. The last time these two teams played it was a high scoring game that the Saints won 45-35. I think the Saints are a more complete team with the better quarterback in Drew Brees. I don’t think the Saints lose in front of this crowd. I would recommend buying half a point to avoid a potential push, but I don’t think it will be necessary.

Pats at Chiefs (-3)

Both teams are coming off their best all-around performances of the season. This is a rematch of week 6, where the Patriots won 43-40. This time, however, the game is being played right under an arctic blast. As bad as the Patriots were on the road this season, I think last weeks blowout over LA will give them a lot of confidence. The Patriots also have a much better coach in Bill Belichick. New England also has a much more experienced roster having made the last 2 Super Bowl. I think the Patriots will win this game, but it would be smart to buy half a point to avoid a push. Patrick Mahomes is a stud who at this point is better than Tom Brady, and he has had one of the best seasons in NFL history, but I think Belichick will have a game plan to contain him. The over-under is a complete toss-up, but the total has gone from 57-54.5 over the week.
